Zinc Max
This formulation combines zinc with a selection of vitamins and minerals that are important in maintaining health in individuals.
Zinc has antioxidant effects and is vital to the body's resistance to infection and for tissue repair. Zinc is also thought to stimulate the immune system and it also contributes to the maintenance of normal vision as well as hair, skin and nails.
Vitamin C acts as an anti-oxidant, neutralizing free radicals to protect cells. Vitamin C also contributes to normal function of the immune system. Vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin B2 contributes to the normal metabolism of iron and together with vitamins B6, B12, B3 and pantothenic acid contribute to normal energy release and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Zinc in combination with biotin and selenium helps to keep skin and hair healthy and normal. Zinc and selenium also help maintain healthy nails.
